MEMORANDUM ON PETROL RATIONING BY THE SECRETARY FOR PETROLEUM. The possibilities of effecting some further economy in the use of petrol were fully dealt with in a memorandum circulated to the Economic Policy Committee by the President of the Board of Trade on 12th June last (E.P.(M) (40)52), and, as a result of the consideration given to this document, it was decided that, apart from exercising all possible administrative checks in connection with the issue of supplementary allowances, the procedure then in force should continue.
