The Committee had before them a Memorandum by the Minister of War Transport (L.P.(41) 114) reporting ###port of ###ory ###rs. ###rious ###erence: 41) 28th (1) ###ng, ### 3. ) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) on the steps which were being taken to ensure adequate transport for factory workers in the coming winter. The following were the main points made in discussion:- A considerable number of 'buses were now out of use owing to the need for overhaul or for repair of war damage. Energetic steps were being taken to bring them 'back into service.
