###GES POLICY. (revious eference: L.P. (41) 23rd Meeting, inute 1.) 1. The Committee had before them a joint Memorandum by the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the Minister of Labour (L.P. (41) 112), covering a revised draft of the proposed White Paper on price stabilisation and wages policy and a copy of a Memorandum on this subject which had been received from the Trades Union Congress. THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER explained that since the Committee had first considered the draft statement on the 10th June he and the Minister of Labour had met representatives of the Trades Union Congress and the Employers' Associations, and the draft had been amended in certain particulars to meet points which had been raised in the course of those discussions, In particular, alterations had been made in paragraphs 8 and 11 of the draft which, they believed, would go far to meet the criticisms made in the written communication received from the Trades Union Congress.
