O###TH AMERICAN U###IPLY COMMIT- S###HEMES FOR G###VERNMENT C###NTROL: ###ORTAGE OF A###MINISTRATIVE P###RSONNEL. 1. THE CHAIRMAN said that, in connection with the Lease and Lend Bill, arrangements were being made for the closer linking of the representatives in the United States of the Ministries of Food and Shipping with the British Supply Council. The Minister of Supply had suggested that representatives of these two Ministries should be added to the North American Supply Committee. He proposed to submit this suggestion to the Prime Minister for approval.
