PRICES OF ESSENTIAL MATERIALS, CHARGES AND SERVICES. (Previous Reference: L.P. (41) 2nd Conclusions. Minute 2.) ###PRICE INCREASES. ###PRICES OF GOODS. 1. The Committee had before them the report of the ad hoc Official Committee dealing with the control of prices of essential materials, charges and services (Paper L.P. (41) 12). The Committee:- Approved the proposals in the report, subject to the further provision that the Minister or Works and Buildings should be invited to consult the Committee on any question of major policy in regard to the supply of bricks, and to give the Committee timely notice of any symptoms that the price of bricks was likely to rise materially.
