FUTURE WORK AND PROCEDURE. 1. THE CHAIRMAN said that he had received a Minute from the Prime Minister stating that, while the Import and Production Executives were necessarily concerned with the practical handling of the business committed by them, it was essential that the larger issues of economic policy should be dealt with by the Lord President's Committee. The Committee then considered what problems they should examine regularly. These would include price policy, wages policy, foreign trade, home consumption and compensation problems.
