(1) See Note A. (2) an applicant without dependants - (a) Where the applicant is not the householder (i) if he is living in the same house as his father or mother or his son or daughter and the income of the household amounts to 20s. per head or more after payment of rent (children under 15 counting as half), 5s. (ii) if he is living in the same house as other relatives or if the income per head is less than 20s. per head 12s. 6d. (b) if the applicant is a householder or is living with strangers 17s.
